Good Morning! I am officially in hibernation mode (in my craft room of course!) because this rain is not letting up.  So while it’s dark and gloomy outside, I have had plenty of time in my studio to work on my to-do-list.  But before I share those , I want to pass along a great blog post I participated in over at While She Naps.  I’d love to hear your views and opinions!

Abby Glassenburg is the creator of the blog, While She Naps. She is a published author of super-cute stuffed animal books, a podcaster, teacher and a shop owner.  Besides her sewing success, she writes often about the business of crafting and how to successfully run one.

A few days ago, Abby e-mailed me to ask if I would write a little bit about my experiences as a pattern tester. Of course I said yes! I have been very fortunate to test for some very talented designers, so I was more than happy to share what I love and have learned from this experience. Head over to While She Naps and enjoy today’s topic “How to Recruit, Manage, and Get the Most Out of Pattern Testers”.

  1. I’ve had some positive and negative experiences. It’s always fun to the first one to get your hands on a pattern. However, it’s disappointing if you spend your pretty fabric on it and it’s a bad pattern.
