WIP Wednesday = Lots of little projects & upcoming releases!

| | |

I have no wonderful long sewing stories to share with you today.  What I do have is a lot  of little WIP’s! It’s been a very productive week in the studio though which is a good thing. Here are a few shots of  what’s been going on:IMG_0134

I finally finished another original EQ7 block this week.  I made it 18″ finished and will probably make it into a pillow.  The fabric is a favorite of mine, PB&J by Basic Grey for Moda.  I seriously want a bolt in each pattern. Love, Love, Love it!!   EQ7 has been a lot of fun to learn, and the more I play with it the more I’m learning.  I’m going to try and make a Christmas quilt in the coming weeks to use as a wall hanging.

In the mornings when time allows I have been working on my 318 Patchwork Quilt-A-Long blocks.  I have tried freezer paper method, graph paper, measuring on the fabric, but the jury’s still out on which one I like better.  Which do you use the most?

A lot of my time recently has been spent on this little pretty above. It’s going to be a super-awesome bag pattern I hope to release as an e-pattern in the near future. This is the final prototype I’m making, just to be sure I don’t want to add or change anything. After this, I’m going on the hunt for that perfect fabric to use for cover shots and pattern pictures.  I am really excited about this pattern and hope this next step (photography) goes as well as everything else has!

The last project to check off this week is editing a few pictures of the *FREE* tutorial I will share with you  in the next few days.  It’s a super easy pattern and can be sewn up in a few hours tops.  I designed it a few years back, but set it aside in my WIP bin.  When I got my new iPhone and was looking for something to store it in when I’m on quick errands it back it popped into my head. So out came the big to give the pattern another shot. Now it’s finished so look for this freebie soon!

That’s all for now! Hope you had a great Wednesday. I am linking up my post today over at Freshly Pieced WIP Wednesday.
