My Sweetly Stitched Handmades Tiny Fabric Bin
Oh how I loved making this little box! It’s one of those sewing projects that provides a quick finish and instant gratification. Just what I needed.
This pattern came from Amy Sinibaldi’s (Nana Company) new book, Sweetly Stitched Handmades. The box I made is part of the sew-along happening on IG. My box is sitting right next to my sewing tools and is filled with all my handbag/accessory labels. It was a perfect fit and they are nice an organized now. I am not 100% sure, but I believe most of the fabric I used were scraps of Art Gallery fabrics. ( Love a good scrapbuster!)
The only part I did not complete (yet) is the hand stitching for the label. I want to hand stitch “Labels” on it. The lace for the border I found in my stash an the button for the flap came from an auction find a few years back. It’s so exciting to use materials that have been hidden away for some time!
I haven’t decided what to sew next from this book. I am hesitant to share this on IG because of all the fabulousness I’ve seen. Right now, the mug rug is looking good….but then again so is the dresden pillow….
