Custom Aragon Bag for Victoria Findlay Wolfe
I’m so excited to finally share a big custom project I finished recently! A few weeks ago I was asked if I could make an Aragon Bag for Victoria Findlay Wolfe to take to quilt market. Victoria is the author of 15 Minutes of Play and an super-talented quilter and artist. Of course I said yes! Better yet, I had a chance to sew with fabric from her upcoming fabric line, Sonnet. Sonnet will be making it’s debut at quilt market this weekend! It was a dream to sew with and if you head over to her site today, you can see the Aragon Bag getting ready to take a trip to Houston.
Here are some extra shots of the bag and her fabrics. Just love the color combos, don’t you?! I can just picture her bag filled with all kinds of fabric samples, business cards and goodies from all those booths. That’s what I love about the Aragon Bag, it is so roomy! It makes a great diaper bag or just a weekender for those quick trips.
Love the plaid interior! I also used a contrasting fabric from her line to make the bias tape. Gave it an extra ‘pop’. Her pockets are also lined with the same fabric as the bias tape. She wanted to make sure all her fabric was seen!
I truly enjoyed sewing up another Aragon Bag and hope she’s enjoying it!
Very pretty! I love all of the pockets.
Thank you! I am a pocket girl, and there are plenty in and out of this bag.
Cindy the bag it is amazing, love her fabric. You did such a great job on the bag, it must have been so much fun to do.
It was fun to do 🙂 The bag itself is not hard, but can be time consuming. What makes it better is using new-to-me fabric and making it for the person who created the fabric. It was a pleasure.
You did a great job on Victoria’s bag, she look like a fashion plate getting ready to travel to Houston!
Nicely done :0) She’ll have a ball showing it off!
Happy Sewing
Thanks Kim!
