April 1st ~ Time for a new BOTM ~ The Moxie!

Happy April!  Are you ready for the newest member of the Bag of the Month Club?  I had the pleasure of testing this months pattern, the Moxie Crossbody Bag. Isn’t she a cutie?  I am sad to say I ran out of time and couldn’t test the gorgeous Carry-out Carry-all Bag. HAHA!

Moxie was created by the super talented Betz White. Her well written patterns, visual aids and style are a favorite of mine and they’ll be yours too.  Here are some close up of Moxie:

Moxie comes with an adorable front flapped pocket with thumb lock for security. You could easily sub for a magnetic snap if you want.  The long adjustable strap is attached in the front and back corner of the bag for a unique look and comfortable carrying.

As you can see above, I x-stitched my straps to the bag.  If you like more bling, sub for some rivets for a new look!  Also written in the pattern is an easy to install zippered closure.

Inside the bag is a zippered pocket to keep special items tucked away.  If you add a zippered closure, there is plenty of room to open the bag up wide and fill it full because of a longer zipper used.

I used a mid-weight herringbone denim fabric for the main fabric and a favorite Dear Stella print for the interior and accents.  It carries light and fits sooo much!  On Betz’s blog today, she is sharing a ton of more tester photos using a wide variety of fabrics so stop by and check it out.
