Dream Up Your Perfect Beach Bag
TGIF!! Man, my boys are jumpy today and ready for the weekend. It literally took all my energy to get them out the door and on the bus, but I did accomplish it. The Staples “NO!” button may or may not have been brought out of a secret drawer…it’s been that type of morning. But now that their day has begun so can mine.
This week I hit the local quilt shop where I found tables of fat quarters on sale. I found a bunch of MODA and a bag of remnants -Score! so I bought those to use for some smaller projects. I also completed some cute boxy accessories that ideally you could use to store a few diapers/wipes, maybe a few snacks and toys. The size makes it easy to slip in a larger bag on your morning errands or day trips. I added a strap in the front to slip the flap through to close it. I also made a few with a magnet closure. Here is an example of one I made yesterday:
My plans today are to work on sketches and dimensions of some larger bags I want to put in my shop. I have 4 0r 5 floating around in my head as well as a beach bag. Now that we live so close to the beach I find myself grabbing the most random totes for beach or pool days. None have been making the cut, so yesterday I posted on my family FB page, “What is your perfect beach bag?”. I received a ton of responses and jotted them down. So for those of you who frequent the pools and beach, What is your PERFECT beach bag?
