Field Study Totes, Vintage Singers & A Noodlehead Book!
I am happy to say I’m finally caught up with the Field Study Tote Sew-Along and am ready for the next steps this week. I really love sew-alongs. Especially when they are spaced out and the end result will be awesome!
All my pieces are cut out, interfaced and hardware organized. I installed the interior pocket with velcro closure and installed the nice interior zipper too. Next week I believe we are tackling the exterior pocket(s) and magnetic snaps so that won’t be too hard!
I am almost finished with the “secret project” but wasn’t happy with the straps I had planned to use so I hope to figure that out today or sometime tomorrow. As for my Hold Everything case I have put that aside for the weekend. I am on the home stretch, but deviated from the pattern when I decided I didn’t want to use velcro to make the pages detachable. So it’s taking me a bit longer to decide how to attach them and what I want them too look like. I will share everything when I’m finished.
Did you know Anna Graham of Noodlehead has a great new book out?! It’s called Handmade Style and it’s wonderful! I will be reviewing the book here soon along with a project I made from the book. ( I really want to make them all…) So be sure to check in to see that.
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day Weekend. We’ll be going to a few parades to watch oldest march in his final middle school parade, sniff-sniff.
