How’s your weekend going?  I have been nursing a sick little man -again- and in between working on some spring cleaning and some sewing projects.  I did manage to finish my patchwork tote and I’ll share that tomorrow. In my inbox this weekend was also the schedule for the sew-along I’m participating in! If you read my earlier post HERE, you know I’m participating in Ayumi Mills (Pink Penguin) sew-along for her new book : Patchwork, Please!: Colorful Zakka Projects to Stitch and Give.

The sew-along is set to start June 3rd. Each week, participants will sew a new project  with a the help of  some great contributors.  When we finish our weekly project, we can post our pictures on the Zakka Along 2.0 :: Patchwork, Please Flickr group.  Here is the line up of projects:

June 3: Bell Pepper Coasters

June 10: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Towels

June 17: Lettered Tea Cozy + Pouch

June 24: Polka Dot Cafe Apron

July 1: Diamond Patchwork Placemat

If you have minimal quilting experience (me!) or have almost no clue how to paper piece (me!) you can still join in! If you click on the Flickr links below the beautiful pictures above, you can see a TON of talented ladies in this group.  The projects in this book are too cute and would make great gifts as well.  I have made the pincushion already, but am really looking forward to June 3rd to start the first project! ~Cindy~
