Greetings from sunny Florida! It is 75 degrees here right now with sunny skies and open windows. How was your weekend? My weekend was a mixed bag, but Sunday was the start of youngest’s T-ball season so he was very excited. He moved up to coach-pitched this season so it will be fun to see how his skills develop.

Another first for me was that I had to take oldest up to his school to feed his FFA pig. Yes, I said a pig. Oldest is on a ‘pig team’ at school. This means his team takes turns caring for the new pig until he gets large and healthy enough to be sold (mostly likely for food ..boohoo). So while I say fed, I really meant this:  mucking out stall, cleaning/sanitizing food bowl then feeding the pig, tricking pig to playpen with lettuce so we can do all this cleaning, scrubbing/rubbing the pig, shoveling new sand into stall and then tricking the pig back into the stall. Phew! It was stinky work, but we had a lot of fun.  The pig’s name is Charlotte and she is very friendly and loves her body scratched. My boy was an excellent teacher too because he walked me though every step and did it to perfection!

So now it’s Monday and the start of a crazy week. My menu this week is similar to last. I finished a few forms for my LLC and am now working on how to charge sales tax for my store. I also finished my bag I used for my upcoming tutorial. Pictures for it are also complete.  So my biggest menu item will be to edit the pictures and write the tutorial! Woo-Hoo!  I also finished an adorable bag I’m texting. So I need to take a few shots and e-mail my notes and pictures to the designer.  I also have to start uploading my edited etsy pictures and see if I can make the listings ready but not make them *active* yet. Can someone do that?

I am also getting ready to unwrap this yummy jelly roll I got in the mail.  This is twenty-thr3e by Eric & Julie Comstock for Moda Fabrics. I have not purchased a jelly roll in some time but my gift card was shouting at me to use it an the jelly roll appeared!!  Eric & Julie Comstock are the creators of Cosmo Cricket. Cosmo Cricket is a big name in the world of scrapbooking, and a large part of my scrapbooking stash. So is it any surprise they design fabric too? What do you think of the designs?
