Michelle Patterns: Camera Case Wristlet PDF Sewing Pattern

|

I am a huge fan of Keyka Lou *now Michelle Patterns*. I probably have at least half of her patterns love them all. When I first dusted off my sewing machine last year and started sewing again, her patterns were the first I found.

Her patterns are extremely organized and easy to follow. Clear descriptive photos help you along the way as well.  If you are a beginner sewist or an advanced one, you can’t go wrong with her patterns. Yesterday I downloaded her Camera Case Wristlet (I believe it’s about to be retired) so it was $3 for instant download.  The Wristlet took about 1hr give or take and is so cute.  Once I finished I looked at it and thought it would be cool to make it even bigger. Maybe widen the straps a bit. So tomorrow I’m going to give that a try.

I don’t think I will use this wristlet for a camera. If you have a small one or a large lens to transport it would be great. But personally,  I think I will use it to store my phone and key when I’m riding my bike. Yeah, I know. Weird idea, huh? But I tried it today and it slips over the handlebar easily. No more worrying about my phone falling out of my pocket while bike riding! Here is a shot of the back (which is pocketed)

If you are looking for a quick project or a cute gift idea, give this pattern a try.Click on MichellePatterns to take you over to her site. She has a daily blog and you can easily access her patterns and how-to’s there. Happy Sewing!  Cindy
