The Uptown Hobo by Rose.Is.A.Rose
This adorable bag you see below is from fellow handbag designer and knitter Rose from the blog Rose.Is.A.Rose. This is her first e-pattern release so when she contacted me to test her pattern, I was honored and excited to try it out! Here is my Uptown Hobo:
The Uptown Hobo has a finished size of 14″ x 11″. I just love the shape of this hobo, don’t you?! It’s roomy enough to put all my go-to handbag items and also things I may need for my boys or for a day trip. The interior has options of slip in pockets and/or zippered pocket. I opted for all pockets, so the more the better! The Uptown Hobo also has closure options for a turn lock or a magnet (which was my choice) Here’s a shot of the inside:
If you are a beginning sewist, this would be a great bag for you! Rose’s pattern directions are clear and easy to understand. There are also plenty of pictures to guide you along the way. I had no problems understanding what was written or described in the pattern. Rose suggests this bag is suited for the beginner-intermediate and will only take a few hours to construct. If you are interested in purchasing The Uptown Hobo and would like more details, read her release POST.
While you are over at Rose.Is.A.Rose buying her new pattern, check out her knitting!! Knitting is the one craft I’ve get to get a good handle on, but I sure do enjoy reading and looking at fresh ideas. Her work is stunning and makes me want to give knitting another try. Congrats to Rose on her new release!
