Tula Pink? Embroidery Book? = Yes!!! Take a Peek!

It’s been so hard not to share this WIP in my social media lately, but today I can!  Tula Pink is getting ready to release an new embroidery book called, Coloring with Thread, published by the talent of The Quilting Company.  Oh yeah!!!  And by looking at the image above you can probably guess that many of her scrumptious, unique fabric prints will soon be yours to embroider.

My history with Tula Pink products may not go as far back as many of the Tula Troops, but my journey into quilted began with her.  Saltwater was the first fabrics I used to learn to quilt and make my first quilt top.  So I have a soft spot in my heart for her work.

As her new lines are released, I always make sure to grab a fat quarter bundle to stash away and hoard.  That’s what Tula fans do, right?  Her fabric is pure gold that we save for special occasions.  Since my initial intro to her fabrics I have been blessed to sew handbags for clients around the country.   But one of my treasured professional memories is when I had the opportunity to sew a few Moonshine and Elizabeth fabric handbags for her Quilt Market booths as well.

The beautifully designed and photographed, Coloring with Thread gives you seventeen of Tula Pink designs from previous fabric collections.  All images and patterns are professionally done and easy to follow.  I am a novice at embroidery, so I am confident when I say a beginner can master these patterns!

Each project page will show you a clear colored images, thread selection options, and step-by-step directions.  The book is also full of reference pages.  From fabric selection, pattern transfer options, to 20+ embroidery stitches, everything you need to start is in the book.

So it is with great pleasure the I share with you the Coloring with Thread book tour!!  Starting 11/27 – 12/15, crafters around the world will show you handmade samples from the book.

Stop by December 5th as the tour stops by Raspberry Sunshine!
